Massage benefits for Anxiety.

So I have previously mentioned mental health, but I'm going to discuss one benefit of massage each week😊💆! This week I'll discuss anxiety alone. Most people experience this daily, so it's a common and natural feeling, but it can feel very unsettling and uncomfortable. You may experience shortness or breath, a rapid heartbeat and sweaty palms, but if you focus on this too much it could feel even worse. The important thing is to remember it's ok to feel like this and it will pass! Certain things can make anxiety more manageable. Massage is one! Massage decreases the level of cortisol (the stress hormone) helping you to feel more balanced. The flowing massage strokes and relaxing music can make you feel more at ease. Massage will also lower your heartbeat, which is sky high when you're at the peak of anxiety. Massage also relieves tension that so often turns into knots! However stressful and anxious life can make you feel, remember you are not alone. Make sure you give yourself time to relax and take it easy ❤️🙏💆 #massage #anxiety #anxietyrelief #anxietyawareness #swedishmassage #deeptissuemassage
